Northern Utah Chili’s Fundraiser

 
Christie attends day training at TURN’s Woods Cross Center where she enjoys participating in Special Olympics Track and Field, Bowling and Golf. In 2006, Christie was a delegate with “Team Utah” at the Special Olympics USA National Games in Ames, Iowa, where she earned 3 of 48 medals won by the team; the Bronze in Woman’s Shot Put, the Silver for the 4x100 Relay, and the Gold in the 100-meter Run. Christie works part-time at Pet Smart in Layton, and also earns incomes from TURN for cleaning she performs at the center. Christie lives with a friend at TURN’s Lakeside Home in Bountiful.
