Tammy Loveless – Program Coordinator in Orem (20 years)

I enjoy working for TURN because I enjoy being able to help others and see the joy on their faces when they enjoy what they are doing or accomplish something they have felt they would never accomplish. I like feeling like I am making a difference in others’ lives. I love the smiles that I get when I walk into the room. The job is not always easy; however, I enjoy the difficult parts of the job and like that after a difficult situation that I am able to smile about it and know that even though difficult, I am helping that person learn important skills in life. I can’t think of another place to work besides TURN, they don’t judge my many downfalls as a person and are willing to help teach and educate me so that I can become a better person and provide the quality supports that those we serve so much deserve. There are things that I will only do for those we serve. I love being a tool that can TURN dreams into reality and help those we serve have fun and learn. In the end, it is not about me, it is about those we serve that makes me enjoy my job so much.

Bethany Stein – Administrative Specialist in Cedar City (5 years)

After graduating from college, I wanted to find a job that made a difference in the lives of others. TURN was the perfect opportunity. Our mission statement says it all, we “TURN Dreams into Reality”. I take pride in telling others where I work and what we do at TURN. I have worked for TURN a total of about 9 1/2 years and have held a few different positions including Direct Support Professional, Program Assistant and Family Support Coordinator. Since I returned five years ago I have been an Administrative Assistant. During my time with TURN I have seen a lot of positive changes happen in the lives of the individuals we serve and within TURN itself. The individuals we work with inspire me every day. Seeing them accomplish goals, big or small, gives me great joy. They are the reason I do what I do. Through orientation I have the opportunity to meet and train new staff, giving them the tools that will help them continue to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Seeing others who are also passionate about making a difference in someone’s life also keeps me motivated in what I do. I have seen our staff help clients accomplish amazing things. It has been very gratifying working for TURN and I feel blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people.
