Paradigms Unified Art Show
Welcome to the Paradigms Unified Art Show!
Art is a language beyond words—a bridge between worlds, experiences, and identities. Paradigms is a celebration of artists with disabilities and those who support them in professional settings, showcasing the ways artistic expression expands identity. Through color, form, and movement, these artists communicate their capacity, ability, and the fullness of who they are. In creating, they declare their presence, perspectives, and desire to be seen and understood—not as defined by limitations but as individuals with voices, stories, and dreams.
A paradigm is the framework through which we see the world—a lens shaped by beliefs, assumptions, and societal norms. Disability is too often viewed through a narrow paradigm of limitation rather than one of possibility, talent, and contribution.
This exhibition challenges perceptions, inviting viewers to shift their understanding and see ability in a new light by witnessing the creativity and depth of expression in these works. Engage beyond perception and see the work and the artists behind it. Witness the power of creation as a space of connection and transformation. Artwork in this exhibition was gathered from across Utah, from Brigham City to St. George, representing a pool of 1,150 individuals who are part of the TURN Community.
Presented in collaboration with TURN Community Services, which has been empowering individuals with disabilities through creative and professional opportunities for over 50 years, Paradigms is more than an art show—it is an invitation to recognize, celebrate, and uplift the diverse voices that enrich our collective human experience.
